NongYing Pool Villa is at Krathing Lai Beach, 6.4 kilometres from the sea, so the focus is on activities at the house. The advantage is that the essentials are close: a 7-Eleven about 210 metres away, a Caltex station about 240 metres away, Thai Foods Fresh Market about 390 metres away, a Krungsri ATM about 450 metres away, Je Uan curry-and-rice shop at Rong Po about 470 metres away and Dr Prayut Clinic about 470 metres away.

For a large group that needs to buy more ice, drinking water or food mid-trip, this is a clear advantage.

A 3.3 × 6 m pool with a 4 m slide

The pool measures 3.3 × 6 metres and is 145 cm deep. It is not huge but suits a small group, with a 4-metre slide for the children. The house has 4 life jackets, and 2 children stay free.

Arranging the bedrooms

Bedroom 1 has one 6-ft bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two 6-ft beds and one 3.5-ft bunk bed, with an en-suite bathroom shared with the living room. Bedroom 3 has one 6-ft bed, one 3.5-ft bunk bed and 1 sofa bed, with an en-suite bathroom.

Room 2 shares its bathroom with the living room, so guests who want more privacy may prefer room 1 or 3.

Entertainment and noise

The house information lists karaoke, a pool table and a barbecue grill. Outdoor noise is allowed until 00:00 and indoors all night, which is more generous than many houses that cut the sound at 22:00.

Kitchen and parking

The kitchen has pots, pans, plates and bowls, spoons, glasses, chopping boards, knives, a rice cooker, a mortar and pestle, a microwave, a steamer and an ice bin. Parking is available for up to 6 cars inside and 4 cars outside. A large bag of charcoal is 190 baht and ice is 100 baht.

Bringing pets, with rules

The house accepts small pets at 300 baht per pet per night. Owners must keep pets out of the pool, stop them chewing things in the house and clean up after them properly.
