Muse: a two-storey, seven-bedroom house for trips big enough to need a long table

A two-storey house for large groups

Muse is opposite Na Jomtien–Huai Yai Beach, 7.4 kilometres from the sea. If you are looking for a trip where you can walk straight onto the beach, this house is not the answer. But if you want enough space for everyone to be together all day, this two-storey house is designed to host groups of 20 to 30 guests without feeling cramped.

Inside are large sofas, a 55-inch shared TV and a backup water pump so the water keeps running when several rooms shower at once.

A 4 × 10 m pool with a slide as long as the pool

The pool is 10 metres long and 4 metres wide, 1.3–1.4 metres deep, a level where adults can stand comfortably and older children can play under a parent's supervision. Beside the pool is a 10-metre slide for the younger generation to ride round after round.

With such a long pool, a large group can split into zones: one end for swimming, the other for resting and chatting or preparing the barbecue, without crowding each other. The house information also lists karaoke, a pool table and a barbecue grill for the evening.

Seven bedrooms: which bathrooms?

The first floor has bedrooms 1 to 5, all with 5-ft beds. Bedrooms 1 to 4 have en-suite bathrooms, and bedroom 4 has a bathtub and a TV. Bedrooms 2 and 3 also have TVs. Bedroom 5 uses the shared bathroom.

The second floor has bedrooms 6 and 7, which share a bathroom. When assigning rooms, guests who want privacy should get rooms with an en-suite bathroom, while the shared-bathroom rooms suit groups who are already close. Every room has air-conditioning, so everyone sleeps comfortably even when the house is full.

Common areas and a kitchen for big meals

The kitchen has frying pans, pots, a steamer, a rice cooker, plates, bowls, cups, dipping-sauce dishes, glasses, cutlery, serving spoons, ladles, spatulas, tongs, knives, chopping boards, a mortar and pestle and basins, plus a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. This set is enough to cook breakfast for a large group and prepare a barbecue in the evening.

Shampoo, soap and a hair dryer are provided. Parking is available for 5 cars inside the property and another 10 cars in the rear yard, ideal for groups travelling in several cars.

Close to shops and cafes

Within walking distance are Erawadee 2 pharmacy about 240 metres away, the Phra Mae Kali shrine about 270 metres away, a noodle shop about 500 metres away and the Four Regions Floating Market about 500 metres away. About a 5-minute drive takes you to Nithan Coffeetell, House of Benedict, TEA FACTORY and Elle cafe, and Jomtien Beach takes about 6 minutes.
