The White Saengchan: a sea-view rooftop, SUP paddling and beachside barbecues

A beachfront house with no swimming pool

Let's be clear up front: this house has no pool. Water activities mean the sea right next to the house, where you can paddle a SUP, and there's a party grill by the sea in front of the house for evening gatherings.

The top floor is a rooftop for activities and sea views, good for sitting in the breeze or group photos. There's also karaoke inside, but no loud noise outside the building after 22:00.

Four bedrooms, and which ones have en-suite bathrooms

The front room on the 2nd floor has a 6-foot bed, 1 en-suite bathroom and a sea-view balcony, while the back room on the 2nd floor: a 6-foot bed with no en-suite bathroom.

The front room on the 3rd floor: a 6-foot bed and a 5-foot bed, no en-suite bathroom, with a sea-view balcony, while the back room on the 3rd floor has a 6-foot bed, an en-suite bathroom and a river view.

Every room has air conditioning and towels. If your group exceeds the beds, extra bedding is available for 2 guests at 350 baht per person.

A kitchen for your own meals, since breakfast isn't included

The house doesn't serve breakfast, but the kitchen is fully equipped with a mortar and pestle, a blender, plates and bowls, spoons and forks, pots, pans, an electric stove, a fridge and glasses.

Extras you can order are charcoal at 30 baht per bag and large bags of ice at 100 baht per bag. Cars can park in front of the house for 2 cars, and another 2–3 cars outside by the sea.

Restaurants next door, and the Pak Nam area

Shops and restaurants are right next to the property: Cher Cher Seafood Rayong is only about 62 meters away, 7-Eleven about 520 meters away, and the municipal market about 790 meters away.

The house recommends Krua Lung Ra, Laem Charoen Seafood, shops selling seafood from local fishermen, the fresh market, Wat Pak Nam, the Rayong River and its mangrove walkway, as well as Bellinee riverside cafe and Cafe Kantary.
