Mermaid 2 is a two-bedroom house in the Jomtien Beach area, just 200 meters from the sea. Each bedroom has two 6-foot beds, and there's also a sofa bed in the living room for 2 more guests. The house has a small canvas pool for soaking rather than a regular pool, making it ideal for groups of 8 who plan to spend their time at the beach and bring a dog or cat along.

Close to the sea, a base to come back to after a day out

Mermaid 2's highlight is its location, 200 meters from the sea. Nearby are Anantaya Jomtien Seafood restaurant about 91 meters away, the 7-Eleven at Jomtien Soi 17 about 133 meters away, and an ATM about 231 meters away.

The house has a 2 × 4 meter canvas pool, 1.0 meter deep, rather than a regular pool, so it's better for cooling off than swimming. If you want a proper swim, plan to head to the sea instead.

Sleeps 8 with a proper bed for everyone

Bedroom 1 has two 6-foot beds with an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two 6-foot beds and uses 1 shared bathroom off the hall, and the living room has an extra sofa bed that sleeps 2.

Stays of 3 nights or more get a free change of bed sheets and towels. For stays shorter than 3 nights, only the garbage bags are changed. Up to 3 children under 7 stay free.

Barbecue at the house, and pets

The kitchen has a barbecue grill, a microwave, an electric kettle, a rice cooker, a steamer, and a mortar and pestle. Tableware includes 19 plates, 11 bowls, 14 glasses and 2 wine glasses. Charcoal and ice can be ordered: charcoal is 50 baht per kg and ice is 70 baht a bag. Noise is allowed outside until 22:00, after which you can carry on inside the house.

The house accepts dogs and cats for 300 baht per pet, but pets may not go in the pool, get on the beds, relieve themselves or chew things inside the house.
